Draw a card to determine what you’ll be working on.

The whole idea is just to pull a card to figure out what to work on!

Drawing a Number Card

</aside>

When you draw a Suit card with a number, put at least that many hours into that project before drawing another. So if you draw the 4 of Cups, put at least 4 hours into your Cups project. Not necessarily in one day. Or even a week or month. Just keep going until you’ve gotten at least 4 hours on the project.

Some folks will be ready to pull a new card in a couple of days, others will take longer.

Your goal might simply be to do one card a week or month to focus on those projects that take a bit more encouragement. And if you have more hobby time than that, you can work on whatever other project you feel like working on the rest of the time.

Keep going if you want!

You don't have to stop when you’ve reached your target hour. If you've hit your stride or are close to a finish, feel free to keep going! You’re just aiming to hit a minimum of what the card ‘predicted’. And then you can draw a new card as soon as you feel you’re ready to change projects.

What if I finish a project?

If you do finish a project, pick a new project to fill that suit. It could be another WIP in your pile or an entirely new start.

When you draw a Page, Knight/Jack, Queen, or King card, those are what we call Face cards.

📃 Page - Learning

Learn something about your project or craft.

If you’re stitching a fox, maybe spend some time learning about foxes. where they live, what they eat, how they hunt, whatever.

Perhaps learn about the artist who designed that pattern, spend some time on their social media and get to know the person behind the art.

Or, learn about your craft. Learn a new way to start your threads or try a different method of holding your crochet hook.

⚔️ Knight (or Jacks) - Focus

Focus mode engaged! Pull another card until you get a number card) and double it!
